Create a notebook

Follow these steps to create and name a new notebook on your paper tablet:

1. In My files, tap the plus icon at the bottom of the screen.

2. Tap Notebook.

3. Use the on-screen keyboard to type the name of your new notebook.

4. Tap Create to save the name and open your new notebook.

Your paper tablet comes with a wide array of templates to choose from. Here you’ll learn how to find and select a template in a notebook.

1. First, open your notebook.

2. In the Toolbar, tap Layers.

3. Tap Template, then rM Methods.

4. Here you’ll find all the templates you’ve downloaded from reMarkable Methods.

5. Tap a template to use it in your notebook.

How to zoom and scroll

1. Pinch or spread two fingers to zoom in or out on a page. Tap the zoom indicator to reset your view.

2. Use two fingers to scroll and move around inside a document.

How to add a new page

1. Tap Add page in the Toolbar to instantly insert a new sheet.

2. Alternatively, when on the last page of your notebook, swipe and tap the plus icon to add a page.

Quick browse

Swipe up from the bottom of a document to access the quick browse scrollbar. Drag the cursor left or right to flip through previews. Lift your finger to open the selected page. Tap the black dot to return to your starting point

How to access page overview

Tap Page overview (four squares) in the Toolbar, to view, organize, and manage all the pages in your document.

Create a quicksheet

To add a new quick sheet, tap the plus icon in My files, then Quick sheet.
You can also long-press the plus icon to open your quick sheet.
