Select your pen

There’s a wide range of writing tools to choose from when creating content on your paper tablet. In the Toolbar, you’ll see different writing tools. Tap these to quickly switch between pen styles, adjust thickness, and select color. 

Erase and undo

Learn how to use the eraser and the undo button. You can easily erase content, and just as easily bring it back if you change your mind or make a mistake.

1. To remove content you’ve written with your Marker, tap the eraser icon in the Toolbar.

2. Then, use your Marker to rub over the content you want to remove.

If you want to remove larger areas of writing, you can use the selection eraser tool.

1. Tap the eraser icon, then tap selection eraser.

2. User your Marker to draw a continuous line around the area you want to erase.

3. The content inside the area you traced will be removed. You can reverse your last action by tapping the undo icon in the Toolbar.

Edit & Move

Here you’ll see how to select content on the page to move it around, or copy and paste it somewhere else.


How to move content

1. First tap the Selection tool in the Toolbar.

2. Use your Marker to draw a line around the handwritten notes or sketch you’d like to move.

3. Tap and hold the selected area and drag the content to where you want it.

4. Then, tap outside the selected area to complete the action.


How to cut content

1. Use your Marker to draw a line around your content.

2. Tap the cut button under the selected area, then tap with your Marker where you want to place it. 


How to copy content

1. Use your Marker to draw a line around your content.

2. Tap the copy button under the selected area.

3. Then, tap with your Marker where you want to place the copy. Tap outside the selected area to complete the action.

Draw perfect shapes

See how to draw shapes - circles, boxes, or triangles - in your documents, just by holding at the end of a pen stroke.

1. First, tap the three-dot menu in the sidebar of your notebook and toggle Enable shapes on.

2. Then draw a shape - a circle, for example. Make sure to pause, without lifting your Marker, to snap it into a perfect shape.

Convert handwriting to typed text

See how to easily convert your handwritten notes to typed text. Once converted, you can move, copy, and paste the text.

1. First, tap the Selection tool in the Toolbar.

2. Circle your handwritten text, then tap Convert to text under the selected area. Your typed text will appear under your handwritten notes. If you would like to convert all the handwritten notes on a page, tap Convert to text in the Toolbar.

Write with typed text

Learn how to work with typed text. We'll show you how to add text with the on-screen keyboard, and then go through the gestures used to select a single word, a full paragraph, or the whole page.

- To start writing, tap Typing in the Toolbar, then Add text.

- To select a single word, double-tap it.

- To select a paragraph, triple-tap the text.

- To select all the text, tap four times.

Move the Toolbar

To move the Toolbar, long-press the Toolbar, toggle and drag it to your preferred location.
