reMarkable 2 featured in inaugural Wallpaper* Smart Space Awards
Respected design magazine Wallpaper* adds reMarkable 2 to its list of best new design and technology products for the home.
We’re honored to be a winner in the first Wallpaper* Smart Space Awards, alongside groundbreaking products from some of the world’s most innovative companies.
With reMarkable 2, we set out to design a product that balances the simplicity of paper with a high-tech tablet. We want people to fall in love with their paper tablet. For it to be a tool that they use not just now, but for years to come. To us, that’s the essence of great design.

We’re grateful that Wallpaper* recognizes our design goals, praising reMarkable 2 for its “seamless blend of traditional writing and digital storage,” as well as “its elegant design and traditional nuances.” It also calls attention to our paper tablet’s slim profile, specifically the 4.7 mm thin design.
A panel of five judges – architects, artists, and journalists – curated its list by “searching for objects that inspire, and technology that’s designed to last.” We’re delighted that our design approach has been acknowledged by such a respected international publication, and it’ll continue to be a big focus for us.
