Stay in control
Find focus and achieve breakthroughs at work
Go paperless, organize your workday, and make the most out of meetings with your reMarkable paper tablet.

Good morning — a brand new work week awaits.
There are meetings to attend, reports to complete, and so, so many emails to handle. Yet even during crunch time, you’re the king of Kanban, the queen of quarterly reviews, equipped with your reMarkable paper tablet and the focused workflows it enables.
From going paperless to sharing meeting notes before your colleagues have even returned to their desks, here are some of our top tips for becoming more efficient and focused at work with reMarkable.

Find time to focus
You likely have a specific time of day when you feel your brain works best. Maybe it’s when you first sit down at your desk in the morning with a cup of coffee, or when you’re winding down in the evening and want to decompress.
Make the most of this time for your own and your colleagues’ benefit.
First, some preparations: Block the slot in your calendar as focus time. Put your computer to sleep. Silence those notifications.
In addition to tackling challenging tasks that demand your full attention, focus time is particularly useful for planning. For example, you can use the preloaded templates on your reMarkable, such as the Checklist or Dayplanner, to outline the agenda for the next few days or weeks.

Master the meeting
You’re about to step into your regular Monday morning meeting and set the priorities for the week. How can you ensure that your team members make the most out of all the brainstorming, discussion, and planning, and emerge from the meeting with a clear idea of what to do next?
With features such as Screen Share and handwriting conversion, you can keep everybody on the same page.
During the meeting, use Screen Share to instantly present on your computer what you're writing or sketching on your reMarkable. This turns your paper tablet into a powerful tool for visualizing and mapping ideas.
Once the meeting ends, use send by email to convert your handwritten meeting notes into typed text and share them with your team members. Be brief — concise meeting notes with clearly defined action items keep initiatives running and plans on track.

Cut the clutter
It's time to retire the printer.
Your reMarkable comes loaded with features that make the hassle of working with physical paper — misplaced documents, printer errors, and so on — a thing of the past, while keeping all the tactile benefits.
For getting PDF files and other documents to your paper tablet, there's my.remarkable.com and the reMarkable mobile and desktop apps. You can also use Read on reMarkable for Google Chrome and Microsoft PowerPoint and Word. These plugins let you send web articles, presentations, and documents to your paper tablet, where you can annotate them by hand.
As mentioned above, you can also email files directly from your paper tablet — for example that contract you just added your signature to.

Bonus tip:
Want to add an extra level of security to your paper tablet? You can enable a passcode for your reMarkable in the settings, providing more protection for your documents than a manila folder ever did. Password-protected PDFs are also supported, so you can open, edit, and export more sensitive documents.
