That’s why we’re currently looking for a Service Designer who will be responsible for defining our customer journey in retail and other sales channels. About the role

At reMarkable, we continuously strive towards creating the best experience for our customers, and we are now looking for a service designer that can contribute to the further development of our customer journeys. The primary focus will be on our retail sales channels, but projects may also include work towards business customers and consumers in other channels. The work can span from working operatively with e.g. defining details around customer communication at our point-of-sales, to owning a holistic overview of how all touchpoints fit together in the bigger picture. You will work on iterative improvements of the entire customer journey to ensure high customer satisfaction throughout our retail channels. Qualitative and quantitative insights from different parts of the customer journey are actively used in the work of further developing the services we offer. As a service designer at reMarkable, you will get to work in close collaboration with other disciplines, such as UX designers, strategists, marketers, developers, logistics and support staff.

Further tasks and responsibilities

  • Design and iterate on reMarkable’s customer journeys, e.g. in retail, to ensure a smooth and efficient customer experience across relevant touch points. This includes:

    • Facilitate workshops with relevant stakeholders to map the customer journey and critical touchpoints

    • Conduct relevant user studies and best practice research to support decision making.

    • Develop, test, implement and iterate on the desired customer journey

  • Contribute to developing the service design domain within the Design department.

Examples of other tasks:

  • Support initiatives across reMarkable’s customer journey to ensure a professional and coherent experience in line with brand guidelines.

  • As part of the service design department, support recruitment initiatives to increase capacity.

Who are you?

  • You have a bachelor degree or higher within relevant fields

  • You have 3-5 years of experience within service design, business design, management/strategy consulting, marketing or other relevant customer experience domains

  • You are experienced within service design methodology and design thinking

  • You have good communication skills in English
